About

Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem is a blog including a collection of recipes that I have developed over time, through trial and error and a love of food.

Where a recipe is an adaptation from a culinary genius, I have accredited these recipes with the esteemed author.

Me

Engineer by day, foodie, photographer, music enthusiast and fashionista by night… and in my spare time.

I’m a huge foodie and love discovering new foods and cuisines – definitely my idea of a mini adventure.

I reside in Australia and have been exposed to several culinary bites of heaven here, which has piqued my interest into cooking various cuisines.

Being ‘Indian’ by ethnicity, my childhood predominantly included delicious Anglo- Indian (as my Dad is Anglo- Indian) and Goan- Portuguese (as my Mum is Goan-Portuguese) food which I’m keen to share with the world.

My love of food has found me lucky and blessed enough to be surrounded with friends and family that share the same love of food, trailing restaurants and finding new and exciting food discoveries – it brings people together – it’s a fun commonality to share. Doesn’t matter what walk of life, career, stature, religion or political persuasion that you’re inclined to – food is a common language.

I hope you enjoy my food journey with me! 🙂

Carpe Diem!
